The Workforce Development Board of Ventura County Public Service Fellowship Career Program for youth 18-28 is open.
The program is designed to help young adults build meaningful careers through hands-on experience and personalized support. Participants receive paid work placements in real roles across various County of Ventura sites, including the Health Care Agency, Ventura County Libraries, Department of Child Support Services and more.
Alongside this, the program offers career training tailored to each participant’s goals, plus one-on-one guidance with resume building, job search strategies, and job applications. Whether you’re just starting out or exploring a new path, this program is more than a job, it’s a launchpad for your future.
For employers, the program provides funding to train and mentor emerging talent, along with support from the Workforce Development Board to make onboarding smooth and effective.
